Just wondering if anyone had any info on this outfit. Didn't find much by way of searchers here or on google.

Main terminal is in Elkhorn, WI. They have another in Elizabetown, PA (pretty close to where I live.) Looks like all food-grade tanker yanking.

Just curious about pay, state of the trucks, how the company is, etc.

    Thanks ahead of time. :biggrin_255:

I just copy/pasted some info put together by a poster on another board. It was a good comprehensive list but the numbers are at least 2 years old and out of date.

They turned there trucks down to 63mph last november, they where at 70mph. A long time ago they where a union co., with a waiting list to get on. Now the pay is a sliding pay scale- not good. They haul alot of chocolate, coco butter, other products to make chocolate, veg. oil, a bit of water treatment. E-town is considered the most important terminal, most of there customers are on the eastcoast. OTR is mainly Chicago to the eastcoast and Cannada. There new pay package-what they called it, came out in 06, everyone quit when it came out. The nyc pay is the best deal there 20.50 per hour, used to start from E-town to NCY, unld., work in nyc, then drive back to E-town all on the clock. I,m sure that changed to maybe.

Well I don't know much, but I was there yesterday 6/30/10 and was hired. I start in 2 weeks. I was laid off, and needed a job. The E-town location is clean, everyone there was nice and helpful. All of the equiptment seemed clean, well mantained, and mostly new trucks. I hope it works out. I never did otr, or pulled a tanker, or have much exp. with a truck with a sleeper. Are you going there?

There trucks used to be at 70 but are now 65. The reason for that is Canada. They pull loadsinto and out of Canada.

Well the truck I was in would do 75. I was there 3 weeks, then they noticed a criminal charge that was clearly listed on my application - but blamed me for
not being more upfront about it. I was soo mad I didn't even bother to argue. My trainer had to change our log books daily to meet LCL demands and still look legal. I witnessed a dispatcher tell a driver to redo his log to take a load even though the driver told him he was up working for the last 20 hrs. They do take good care of the trucks, and are getting all new ones in FEB. and they will be autos. Good company I guess, but don't let the dispatchers do your logs....only you suffer for what happens next.

All new trucks will be electronic logs so no changing logs when that happens. No way you had a 75 MPH truck with them. New trucks come in Sep or Aug.

I did have 75 mph truck. Trainer told me that when the turbo was replaced the computer was not reset to 65. He had to mention my speed a time or two. The other truck I had was 65, but only after you split in 13th gear. Yeah I heard drivers mention the auto logs. There is going to be late freight, ot lisa will learn how to figure out reasonable eta times lol. I assume you work there?

Yes, I have been here for 10 years. The company has gone thru a lot of changes but I think the best is yet to come. These new trucks and the new pay packet that they have coming out should be very driver friendly. Did you talk to the ops manager about your felony? They will make exceptions and he is an ex driver. He is one of the good ones.
