Company is based out of Chicago. They run under several different names (I worked under Lions Empire) but the main name is LB Inspire. Worked for them for less than two months. All im gonna say is don’t waste your time. Dispatching is only there to make sure company gets money for “their” expenses. You’re going to pay about $2000-2400 a week in expenses and that’s not including fuel
Not to mention the %18 that come off the top and if your gross isn’t at least 4k they’ll hold your entire paycheck til the next week which they won’t tell you.
Don’t expect any home time and a decent paycheck. It ain’t happening
The claim “rate transparency” but I called a broker a couple of times and got a different listed price on load after dispatcher sent me a lower rate for same load. Shortly after that the broker said they were told not to discuss rates with drivers.
They hold money from your checks.
If there’s any detention or layover they pocket it and claim they never got it. So many red flags to type. Better off being a company driver before you go here.
    Best of luck drivers

Maybe the drivers should require a 2 week advance from the company's that classifies as 1099.

To be fair, it sounds like a 1099 is accurate. Sounds like a lease purchase to me, which of course is it's own set of wtf's

    Lonesome and Dennixx Thank this.

If you know about this site, then please educate me on how you DON'T know to stay far away from Chicago companies with the sole business plan being leasing trucks to drivers?

    ZVar Thanks this.
