You finally found out their games, believe I have all the documentation. Yes they will get funny after you leave and start playing games once they know you are quitting. It's like they just figure once you leave they don't need to pay you anymore even for work that you have already done.Even after they were already stealing off the top of each load. I have heard some say at other places they will try to keep your last checks and use it against you because you broke your contract, it boils your blood when they broke the contract from the first step by stealing from each load you were doing. I made sure to get the contract signed by them before I left the office the first day, which they kept saying it's no problem and everything is good, we will give you copy next time you are here. I told them I was gonna leave that day if I didn't have a signed copy in my possession.

I brought the truck back just as clean if not cleaner, than when I took it, I was only there 9 days only had my backpack and a small duffle bag, because I don't trust any companies American or European, so I never travel heavy just in case I do need to bounce and catch a flight on short notice. I had them sign off on everything being perfect when I brought it back even had the guy on video saying everything was perfect, but you are right, most likely they will try to ignore you and not pay you anything, while if you do get them on the phone they will play games saying thats accounting, but yet won't know what accounting's number is. Then tell you like 90 days before you will receive anything.

I called about a dozen attorney's out of the Chicago area, most won't want to take a case like this on a contingency deal, based on them still being to small of a company, plus I am sure they have had problems when these companies dissapear, as most just keep a skelton crew here and a lot of them are in Europe. After paying a Lawyer to send them a letter of intent to sue, plus doing a DOL complaint which went out to them, it was then when they emailed me my check was ready. And oh yea be prepared to see all types of BS that they will deduct. Again if they thought I was walking away with nothing, they were mistaken, but they paid me enough that I look at it as, I am not gonna waste more time with this over 9 days, it was enough for my time out there, basically something like 60cpm, after they still only paid me what they were lying about the loads paying and after all the BS Deductions, but if I lived in Cooke County, I would have seen this all the way through, and filed the paperwork myself at the court which would have had to go to their supreme court as Cooke County small claims only is up to 5k, and they owed right around 10k, plus I would have added all types of other claims in there.

 

I feel you, I tried to play it cool because I was about to flip on them once I saw how much they were taking, I was in California, when I first asked the broker after I knew they were stealing just from looking at the rates in the areas I was in. Then looked back in broker app and saw the first loads rate con that broker had uploaded in the documents section and how much they took.

I wanted to throw an ad up on Craigslist First 10k gets this truck, No title, No questions. I am sure I could have got some Chop Shop to scoop it up, that would have stripped it and disabled any GPS tracking. but I just said I needed to get home for an emergency. Of course they wanted me to take the truck home but I told them, No because I didn't know how long I was gonna be and didn't want to pay for the truck while it was sitting. I tried to play it cool and not even let them know that I knew, I was just gonna let them pay me the $5500 they owed me off the BS lies they said I was grossing. The crazy thing is I even told the dispatcher to go back and try to get at least 3.50 for one load they wanted me to take out of CA to Denver Co, and he had the nerve to get a little attitude with me telling me, he already tried and that's the most the broker would pay, which was 3k only to find out straight from the broker my self he was paying us 5k.

But that was too hard for them to do just pay me at least what you Iied and said I made, once they kept asking me was I coming back, and I said it might be a couple months, they started getting real silly. That's when I cussed them out and threaten them and let them know I knew all the BS they were doing. Only to hear them laughing. Then them telling me I wasn't getting @$ish, then ignoring me completely. In reality they owed me 10k from what I Really Grossed.

I still have their names and addresses and places of work, Linked In profiles....etc The Owner is only 24yrs Old. Lukas Butkevicius.

Exactly I would have stayed there too if they hadn't been stealing so much, again in 9 days I really grossed about 18k and should have net 10k, I ran hard, almost 6k miles which about 700 were deadhead miles, I could have got another load from last drop in Iowa to Chicago, but I was too pissed, just told them I was dead heading back from there. and that's why I asked for that cash advance because I had a feeling things were going to get stupid with them, so I wanted to start to recouping money as fast as I could from them.

Snakes and Greed. Like you said if they just kept it 100, they would keep a lot of good drivers. Sad thing is most these drivers don't even know the truth and how much they have been robbed that have been there for any amount of time. You should have the right to know what exactly you are being paid from the broker. Those 3-5k checks should have been 7-8k in your pocket, that you are running around like a madman doing twice as many miles as most drivers, and as you said rates have declined while fuel remains high, plus they put all the risk on you, and charge for every little thing, you are already paying inflated prices for all the other BS they charge you every week. All they have to do is be straight forward and pay you what is really owed. Just think if they just have 20-25 drivers and steal an average of 2-3k a week off each drivers check plus still go take 20percent, off the false gross amount they tell you, they are making 60 to well over 100k a week profit. While you as the driver are already covering all their payments and cost for running that truck plus still taking all the liability (hence why they want you to have a business set up). It's all Greed, These European Guys think all drivers are mindless zombies and laugh, while we run around all day with no life, making them bank as they sit back and a lot of times flaunt, most of them all have new Mercedes, and live in Highrrise pent houses.

I only worked for them for 10 days, generated nearly $10,000 in gross revenue, of which I should have gotten $4500 to $5000 of, but they just stole that ####ing money because I let them know that I was leaving them. They also attempted to get me to falsify my logs, telling me they wanted to set me up on the Elog as a "team" driver, even though I was a solo driver, in order to give me a fresh set of hours to keep running past my 70. This is the third Balkan/Serbian/Russian/Slavic company I have worked for and all have ripped me off or stolen from me. They are all thieves, crooks and liars. They need to be deported back to their own country to steal from their own. All of them.

They know that most of us won't spend $10,000 in attorneys fees to go after $4,000 or $5,000, so they just do whatever they want, without repercussions. They also have 25 different companies going under the LB Inspire moniker so that when they get caught doing this crooked ####, they just close down one company and run under another. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the Illinois DOT. These guys are unscrupulous ######## and the government doesn't even look their way, regardless of how many complaints or accusations of illegal activity drivers make.

 

Thats what I have told many people before. They tell me "They pay 90%! Im going to go there!"
I tell them "no, they pay you 90% of what they TELL YOU they are getting..."

 

Pretty Much, I don't really come on here, but yes that is exactly right!, They all work together and know the game, while screwing drivers, you could make decent $$$ while driving in a contract like that, especially if the market is good doing some 3-4k miles, but after they steal,,,only way to make great $$$ running with them is running illegally, and biting your lip knowing that all those expenses they charge you for are inflated and more you should have had to pay those expenses, and every load you take they are taking off the top from hundreds to thousands. All while laughing at you while they drive there Mercedes/Sports Cars around, living in Penthouses, or out in Europe laughing at you, running around like a chicken without a head, while you RUN RUN RUN, and they make thousands, sitting in their place for doing nothing but renting some trucks, getting authority, booking loads off load boards, and placing everything in your name to be liable for, while they take not only 10-25percent off what they tell you, you grossed but steal thousands right off the top. Then stealing tons of money in a so called escrow, that you will never see again, and withholding one or two checks, that you will never see if you quit.

Scumbags for sure, take an example 2 guys from East Euro. Come here make a little bit of dough, trucking themselves, then see America does not give a %$&* about truckers, DOL is a complete joke, they can use logs that they can edit. They rent a small office out and yard for lets say 6k a month, spend maybe a few k on getting their authority, spend $ on craigslist ads/paper/printers/pretty Euro Women in the office, and go rent these trucks from Penske/Ryder, but in return they put all their cost on you as a Contractor LOL 1099, Saves them a #### ton of money, in taxes they have to pay as well as benefits and pushes all liability on to you as you sign all these documents that they rush you through. All cost go to you as a driver, (truck/trailer/fuel/tolls/maintenance/cargo/bt/taxes/OC/tickets/everything...etc, it sounds Great when you know you are a hard runner, especially if you know the market rates, cost of fuel, and how to be proficient with your time. You think yes I can make it, maybe you will make some 3-10k a week depending on how much you are willing to risk and drive like a madman plus market conditions.

Look at their hustle though, I have you come sign up to drive for me put all the cost in your name. Tell you, you can do whatever you want but I control your check, I don't send a rate con, and even if I did I get if from the broker and take 2 min to edit it in adobe, I tell you I have a load from Portland Orgeon to Houston TX for 2k, if you say NO, I say ok then sit around and Ill look for something else starving you out. Knowing you have all these fixed expenses as a so called 1099 worker, LOL, So you will say screw ill take it, Ill while knowing that you are getting screwed, or many drivers not, but that load just paid 3500 not 2k, I just stole 1500 off that, and still got you moving. For example you will run those 4-6k a miles a week and they will tell you, that you grossed 10k, while in reality you might have grossed 15k-20k depending on time of market, so that's 5k of the top they steal without a lot of drivers even knowing, because they are use to making #### money anyway, and think this is how trucking is, then they take another lets say 20percent of the 10k they said you grossed that is another 2k, so all in all they just made 7k off you while you were running your ### off and most likely illegally to make that life changing 4k plus check, while endangering others while you don't sleep and they are laughing at you, while they live the high life. So time that by say 20 trucks, that's 140k a week they can make off drivers, all while putting all liabilities and expenses on you. And yes they will Blacklist you as well, which is a good thing using CDL Scan.

 

Hey I worked for them in jan 2023. They refused to pay me for 3 weeks. I'm currently trying to see if I can gather previous drivers so we can get together and file a class action lawsuit against them
