Chinatown, which companies in Las Vegas can I check with for home daily position. Don't mind physical work. I'm currently doing final mile with JB Hunt. I have indeed and all the job apps but would rather here from you since you are the Mayor of Las Vegas.

Class A adding doubles, triples and tanker to license this week. Two years experience in may. No accidents or tickets.

Gotta get out of Bum Rouge,Louisiana.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Home daily jobs that pay decent wages are hard to find. Try these though and maybe get better pay & maybe get an over nighter.
Old Dominion - has city P&D and linehaul
Night Train Trucking - has reefer runs to Los Angeles and back
    Reddaway - linehaul and P&D
    Tru-line Corp - (trulinecorp.com)
Estes Express - linehaul and P&D (this is probably the best job)
    Mountain Valley Express - linehaul
    Pan Western
A&R Logistics - has a facility at the rail yard
    Apex Bulk Commodities
    Bulk Transportation
If you need help finding a place to rent; here's where to look (propertyvegas.com)

Vegas has lots of hospitality stuff I would think also Sysco, U.S. Foods Coke Pepsi Beer what about line haul for like a linen service I see Coyne Textile and Ronco and Paris linen services tractor trailers fairly often takeing stuff from the outlying depots to the main wash facility or delivering to hospitals surely there is some of that happening in Vegas.

Also RC Willey. A large furniture retail chain. They have a big outlet in Vegas. And I see their trucks up here all the time. Anything from a straight truck to at least a tractor and pup. I also think I've seen a big truck with their name plastered all over it, but won't swear to it.
Oh yeah, THIS IS WORK! Hauling around kingsize mattresses, high dollar appliances etc, and you WILL put them where the customer wants them.
But, it might be worth a shot.
    Good luck to ya!

Once you get there, check the fuel hauling companies.
Tesla and Faraday Future are building factories there. Faraday is investing over a billion dollars in their auto plant. Probably be some local work running supplies to those factories from the local suppliers/vendors.
Cardinal Logistics has some type account there; may be a grocery store account, but not sure. Check their website.

@VIDEODROME - recently saw some fixer-uppers in Las Vegas on propertyvegas.com website. They'd make nice rentals and fix one up to live in. Don't know if you need cash or not. One was around $22K.

Reading between the lines, seems like squatters are living there or some deadbeat people that refuse to pay rent or move. The owner is trying to sell the house without the people living there knowing about it.

You ain't seen real bums yet. Wait till you actually
Live in Vegas. Anywhere off the strip you'll be
Harassed at stop lights and almost every convenience
Store you go to by people who haven't showered in weeks. And they don't care one bit.

Vegas is one of the worst cities there is for a
Truck driver. Have fun trying to get in with all those
    Companies other people have listed.

If your single with one income you'll live week to week
With what the local jobs pay.
    No money to save:
No money to have a good time:
One unexpected problem and your in the whole.
    You heard it here first.

I've tried it twice out there and I've got 10 times
    More experience than you do.
It's a two full time income city,or you do like most
Of the people out there and pile in 3 deep in a apartment.
I'm to old for that crap.

I'm not gonna mention any jobs out there because
95 percent of them are low paying 40 hour a week
    No overtime jobs.
Even The 5 percent that are worth a dam, it might take
You a year to get on with, even if you know somebody.
That's if you last that long being broke all the time.

Vegas is the greatest place on earth if you have money,
It's the worst if you don't.

We have a huge plant and terminal in Vegas.
We've got many drivers who live and work
Out of there, been with the company for years OTR.

They live there and know people who work at
These companies that these other people have listed.
And they can't get a foot in the door at the few that
    Are worth it.

That's the real Las Vegas for a truck driver.
Best advice I can give you from past experience is
Make for dam sure you have at least 3 to 5 months
Living expenses in the bank. It might take you 2 months
After putting in apps before your phone rings.

Stay far away from apex bulk commodities.
That's all I'm gonna say about that.
