Landforce Corporation is the worst trucking company for any driver to be employed with. Landforce Corporation is located in Victorville, Ca. Landforce does not care about it's drivers, has bad equipment and they will make their driver's pay for expenses that should be covered by the company. If a driver fuels their assigned truck at an unauthorized truck stop, the company will deduct the total cost of fuel from the driver's pay. They force driver's to pay for tolls and to mail back original BOLs and fuel receipts in order to get paid, and if your documents don't arrive in time, the drivers will have to wait an additional week to get paid; however, their drivers are ordered to take pictures of the BOL by phone and to text the photos to Dispatch after the trailer is loaded and after the trailer is unloaded. To send these documents overnight, the delivery costs is usually around $30.00 or more and sometimes the packages still arrive late causing a delay in pay.
I ran solo with my first load with this company for 1700 miles on a Monday and delivered on time the same week on Thursday morning. After that first load, I did not have any loads Friday through Monday. I called the office on Monday to ask will I get any layover compensation, and I got the run around. My next load assignment came the next day on Tuesday morning, and I also delivered it on time on Wednesday morning which was about 550 miles. I didn't receive any loads on Wednesday after my morning delivery and I didn't receive any loads the next day on Thursday. I finally spoke to the manager on that same Thursday and she rudely told me that I will not be compensated for my down time. They also lied about my pay rate. They told me my rate was .10 a mile less than their original offer. I finally received a load assignment on Friday going back to my home state, but I had a breakdown on the way and ended up sitting again for the weekend without any compensation.
Do not make the same mistake I did. Find a company that values its drivers. Landforce does not care about you and will find any reason not to pay you or to deduct money from your check. I will be more careful and ask more questions upon finding a new trucking company.

I would like to know what they tell you to get you in? I really have never understood why an experienced driver takes chances on no name companies that you obviously didn’t have a clue about any reputation of this company and still just took a shot in the dark with

I am here to warn others about sketchy companies. CDL drivers already go through a lot, in general, it is a tough job, and companies like these take advantage, lie, and exploit drivers. I am sure the drivers that worked for this company had their reasons. More than likely, there are more CDL drivers than there are trucking companies with good reputations. Plus, all trucking companies were once "no-name" trucking companies since all companies must start off at the bottom and work their way up, which means there were CDL drivers working for them before they became reputable.

No; the company has to start somewhere therefore the company will end up hiring drivers with experience, which means all drivers take a risk.
I did not answer your question specifically because it appears like you were shaming experienced truck drivers for ending up with a bad trucking company, like you're a mother pointing your finger at them telling them they should know better and its their fault. No matter what the answer would be, I can tell by your word choices you will try to blame my father along with other drivers that end up working for sketchy trucking companies and put them down, so if he wants to answer your question he can I'll let him know, but I will not do it for him, in case your intentions are ill.
They may not be, but that is the conclusion I am gathering so far. We'll see soon enough. -

Any mod around? Appears to be a multi account -
@NH Guy
Two accounts mentioning the same company. The message is "do not work for Landforce." -
