Loaded our product and three days later when product was to deliver, the demanded payment. "we need a comcheck for the load before I will deliver your product". Had to have local authorities get involved, insurance etc.... Save the headache NEVER USE them.

So many things you don't find out in this industry till later. So what was the agreement between you and this carrier when you hired them?

We had a dispatch confirmation with an agreed amount, terms, company packet...ETC. They pick up product in Orlando, FL then once the arrived to final unload, they said they would not unload the product until we paid them via com check first. The product that they had on was a very import order. So their hostage situation has put our company in a bad position with our clients. We now have to go through the process of the load been stolen, as it was never delivered to the customer. Bullies....

Important shipment eh ? ....what was the hold up on completing terms of agreement ...if the owner of a truck hired a driver and then did not pay the driver ...the driver can legally hold the truck in escrow until the owner pays the driver what he owes the driver .....the key here is ,what was agreed upon from both parties? Thats the part we are missing here ....was payment due upon delivery or your credit is good pay me later
