That was my first driving job, I don't know about them now but four yrs ago it was pretty laid back work. Home daily , off two days ( no wkends) I mean when u first start u won't have ur wkends off it takes about two or more yrs. Good tractors !! All I did mostly was grocery warehouses ( no touch there) just pulled up to the dock , seen a lumper manager and give them the money that lancaster gives u for their service. ( make sure u get it before u leave the terminal and make sure u get a receipt) oh yeah some of their daycabs have beds in them so when u get to a giants warehouse u can go to sleep. When I was delivering to the grocery stores and some mom and pop ones , most of them have electric pallet jacks so u can use it to pull off ur frieght. Early start time like 4 or 5 some late ones too( at the time ur choice) good ppl no rush because u start so early and all their stops have directions on how to get to each one and find their loading dock. Pay was 15 and hr for me , fresh out of school . Ot after 40 and I got a lot of ot.... that's all I can think about right now and it is definately one of the best jobs out there so if u leave them they won't rehire u and trust me I tried....
