My husband an I stayed the night here since we were out of hours. At around midnight, we were woke up by a trailer continuously crashing into our truck an totaling out the drivers nose of it! An the the driver after my husband chased him down didn't even know he had hit us. We had the police out an a report done an then called idealnet for service or a wrecker to find out that this travel plaza will not allow any outside maintenance or wrecker service on their property! Our truck was damaged on their property but if we don't let them fix it we had to drive it somewhere else, REALLY!!! Luckily we bent it up enough to drive it but what if that couldn't be done! This is america, right!!!

I'm not sure I know where that is. Off of 20/59? What exit number?
-
Exit 17. But I know they were closed up for a time. Don't know much aabout the new operators.

Sounds like a truck stop I'll add to my "avoid list", regardless. Seems like we now have a pretty good idea about the new operators you speak of.

I know that place, it's a crap hole.

Knucklehead Thanks this. -
To the OP be sure to put an honest review on Google about your experience. These types of reviews will eventually get some attention and help others avoid potential problems and/or get the owners to take a hard look at the way they conduct business

I don't think they can stop you from having a wrecker that your insurance/service contract has you use.
Having a tire service or mechanic come out is one thing, but a tow is in a different category.mslashbar and passingthru69 Thank this. -
The place is filthy, and the owners are very rude. I think they had just reopened it when I was there, but I won't stop there anymore.
