    My truck is finally possessed.

I'm driving down the highway in the dark when suddenly the highbeams activated by themselves, and the windshield wipers breifly activated for one complete cycle before shutting off. I've heard of similar incidents from other drivers, but now it finally happened to me. The latest rumor that I've heard was something to do with the trailer's tracking system that messes with the electrical system in the truck.

Or it could be an angry spirit that worked for Knight when it was still alive, but never got reimbursed for (insert out of pocket expense here).

You're obviously driving a Volvo, they all do the single wiper thingie--I think that it is part of a random self check in thier health status check.

Dont know about the beam change, but I've had the horn get stuck 'on' without touching it one early dark morning in NE Nevada---had a b#### of a time stopping it, couldnt find the hwy horn wire, but finally pulled the horn fuse inside the cab.

But the seats on the old Volvos were possessed...:biggrin_2559:

On the wayward ways of this wayward town.

    I go to work.

People either can't read highway underpass signs, or are just too lazy. So much for the trailer resell. This was a brand new trailer that's parked over in Joliet. Special breed of driver from that yard I tell ya...

I'm gonna guess that it happened somewhere in Chicago. That city is notorious for having unmarked underpasses. I haven't been given a preplan yet to the area, but it will be immediately refused due to that reason.

So at first you were crucifying the driver that did it:

...and now you're giving a legitimate reason that it could have happened? I'M CONFUSED! :p

Fine, I will break it down:

The wrecked trailer was probably from a driver based out of the Joliet yard near Chicago, the city that is notorious for having numerous unmarked underpasses, especially the railroad passes. People (meaning the driver that wrecked the trailer) can't read highway underpass signs, or was just too lazy to plan the trip better to prevent the unfortunate accident.

Phew, that was a mouthful! Next time I will have to charge!
