Kiswani, Inc. out of South Holland, IL

Not your average "big" company but I am super happy with them. I am a OWNER OP at this company.. for almost 4 years now -

They are called Kiswani Trucking and Kiswani National (Intermodal & OTR) out of South Holland, IL.

1) honest people
2) they understand and work with you
3) great bonuses/incentives ($250 clean inspection bonuses, 3x driver of the month $250 bonuses, $600 referral bonuses, ect)
4) extremely amazing pay (they pay tolls, triaxle, detention, ect), hometime 100% guaranteed with Intermodal.
5) discount fuel station at their terminal (currently $2.82!!)
6) free Prepass.. green light mania

only con i can think of (shoot me if i'm wrong, probably am)
they're going under a complete revamp of their safety program.... i mean, any driver related violation will result in a hefty fine.. but i guess thats understandable. this also makes sense because ever since they hired this new safety guy two years ago.. he's been on a roll.. in a good way. increase of work, increase of rates, more bonuses..ect and the improvement shows based on their CSA score.

they are about 65 trucks mom and pop company (drivers and owner operators)...

bumping this thread... i think they're looking for owner operators to add to their fleet ..... give these guys a chance, i think you'll like them..

 

We do intermodal containers here so I've been to

IL, IN, MI, OH, WI, IA, MO.

Alot of customers so there's work to keep us guys going. But you get to know each customer because chances are, you will be back there sooner or later.

Rates are really good IMO... for a guy that's home everyday, i clear $2,500 to $3,500 after diesel, shop repairs and there's work available Saturday & Sunday.
I'm an O/O but they seem to specialize in freightliners for company drivers. they also have TRIAXLES( about 32 ) of them to carry heavy 20' foot containers. using a triaxle means you get an extra $75 just for using it!


there is really nothing bad to say about them. i feel comfortable here, family atmosphere. really love their fuel station... i can fuel at anytime and it's discounted aswell ($2.67 today). they also deduct the fuel from your settlement. They also have a truck and trailer repair onsite with the facility and it is all family owned so they are linked to the trucking company. They correspond with each other and the shop sends the bill to Accounting and they deduct it from my settlement aswell.

I also believe they have an OTR division but I dont know anyone from there lol. All I seen is they just purchased 5 new 2016 utility 3000R reefer's for their OTR division. Their road drivers also have cascadias as far as im concerned.. a little small division of like 5-10 people on the OTR. This company is mostly Intermodal company.

 

whatsup bro, dont mind their facebook. i dont think they have no issue leasing anyone on as long as you talk to jay. if you want, i can put in a word for you so when you call, he will know whatsup. he's a cool young cat that's in charge of the hiring & safety there. you should be good. anyways what are you looking to do bro???!
