I'd have to give this shipper a poor rating. I've been here for 12 hours now waiting on a load, and by the looks of the 8 bobtails here on the street (we have to drop trailers and then park on the street) that have been here for hours, I'd probably have to say that I won't accept another load originating from here.

It ended up being 13 hours total to load the trailer. 13.5 hours if you count the time it took to get the paperwork and go through security.

Dropped once here. Was backing up into the trailer and someone from inside decided to walk between the tractor and the trailer. Just caught him in my mirror... I was only about 4 feet from the hookup. Had a nice chat with their safety dept.

I have not had any good experiences with the Kimberly Clark paper places, but the one that takes the cake is the plant at Loudon, TN. First, the entrance has 2 roads that fork inside the gate. Neither is marked. So, common sense indicated the right road was best as it is probably a racetrack traffic flow. Wrong. This road takes the direction to the power, steam plant and is narrow.
Next, the gate guards. Upon arrival, and well before the sceduled drop time, the gate guards told me a strict 15 minutes on their property. This is not reasonable, as you have to go to the check in as I did to turn in the paperwork for the paper from Bayonne NJ, but to get the trailer that was going out to the consignee.
Next, you have to go up a hill in the back to park the MT trailer and send the MT call and then pick up the loaded and head back to the window in the building down the hill and check out.
While I was dolllying down and disconnecting the scrap paper load trailer, the gate guard came flying up on his golf cart and told me that I had exceeded my 15 minutes on the property.
I told him that I would be glad to take the delivery trailer out and leave the pickup trailer there and would go back to the windown to inform the Kimberly Clark person there that I would not be back on the property.
The guard argued with me, and as I started to dolly up, changed his tune and ran off.
I did tell the window person of this, and they rolled their eyes.
So, if you go to Kimberly Clark Loudon TN, beware of the vicious and difficult gate guards there. I will not go back there ever again.
