Hello Professionals!
First, thanks for everyone who helped me to get understanding in "weight" here Explanation about weight needed
I also have a question, today in this crazy market would you buy W900 or Pete 379? Still reefer trailer, still 44k payload.
Prices are crazy, maybe will wait a few months, but anyway which truck is better? W900 or 379?
Thank you and stay safe!

Same truck made by the same company - Paccar. Buy whichever is more aesthetically pleasing to you.

This is 1 of those trick questions isn't it ??????
Here's my answer
You need to buy what ever you feel is the best buy for the money you have to spend. That is set up best for what you plan to do.. how comfortable you feel while driving only you can decide what you like the best..
You need to remember is all about profitability at the end of the day
To be perfectly honest with you..JMO

If I was you I would look towards either a Freightliner or a Volvo..I can tell you for sure a 379 or a W900 are not going to be the best for fuel milageOxbow, Beaver9, midwest_trucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
I try my best to avoid the Peterbilt dealer .. but when I do have to go there for parts that's the 2nd question I always ask....how much is it ???Oxbow, pete781693, Badmon and 3 others Thank this. -
Badmon, exhausted379, Beaver9 and 2 others Thank this.

Others know this better, but keep in mind the age of the trailer - I think the insulation over time can become waterlogged and therefore heavier - some shippers require less than 10 year old trailers - and used prices on reefers are high.
Maybe your idea of researching and planning, and waiting a few months would be prudent.Oxbow, 4mer trucker, exhausted379 and 4 others Thank this.
