I wouldn't buy it. Trucks 25 years old. Too much stuff to go wrong with it.
281ric Thanks this. -
I bought my 04 t600 with $10k with 715k miles on it. If the truck is restored or rebuilt with customization, it may worth it.

Off of craigslist. http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/cto/4263818054.html this is what I am told. VERY VERY hard to believe. Individual selling it claims it was used in 1989-2008 as the truck hauling the geico company race boat. Then sold to someone who sold it to the individual selling it.
The individual selling it claims when he first put it in shop for some tlc work the mechanic said it looks like the original miles.. This was at 79,000 miles in 2008. It now has just north of 300 thousand miles. No rebuild but has been taken care of and runs amazing and is trust worthy.
I hate to put the owner on blast it is very hard to believe that. I am still interested in the truck though. Just wanted to see what other guys have to say..
Your thoughts gentleman.. -
Truck looks excellent in the photos. And I love it. What I also like is the owner claims he has the maintanance files on hand and original ad from where he bought it in Florida. I may go see the truck this weekend

new tires , brakes seals bearings , air to air , pump work injectors , clutch pressure plate and through out bearing in It new.
-
I wouldn't touch it for that price, simply because of age, but if you like it and it checks out go for it, none of us have to drive or maintain it. Looks great though!
-
The price is up there I know that. That's while I am a littleeeee hesitant, age is the main concern
-
300k original miles and had to replace the clutch and throwout bearing? Even with the age, kinda makes me wary.
