Does anyone know what the weight difference would be if i swapped my studio sleeper for a flat top? Probably a 60inch.

The 72” to 60” flattop is only about 400lbs…..
According to my trusty kw salesman
didn’t ask about the studiosBean Jr. Thanks this. -
Iirc, when I changed the roof and interior from a 60" Aero 2 to a 60" flat top it lightened mine around 180lbs. About 70lbs of that were the 4 windows, seals and curtains. If I have my nomenclature correct the original stand up with windows that came out in 1976 was the Vista aka, Aerodyne, then about 1993 the Aerodyne 2 came out and in 1996 or 1997 the Studio sleeper was introduced. The Studio was based on the modular 60" Aerodyne 2 as far as exterior styling, etc. I think the Aerocab with the cab and sleeper siamesed came out in 72" flat top and standup trucks in maybe 1998. Someone feel free to correct me and finish the variants available up to current days. Anyways, my standup was the Aerodyne 2. That is the sleeper that the studio was based on

Yea that’s the sleeper I believe I have as well. Not a whole lot of info on them and the dealers aren’t any help either. I was just curious to know how much weight I would shed if I replaced the studio for a flat top. Don’t really need the big sleeper and love the flat top look. -
Bean Jr. Thanks this.
