    Yup, get the VW adapter. It will make things easier. Just match the wires from the adapter to the ones on your Kenwood's harness.

    PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
    thanks to you all who contributed,
    especially the people who suggested the VW harness.

    I took the picture i posted here to a different high end stereo store. he instantly said VW as well. so took it home, wired it up and shees good to go! tunes and all, allong with a new Uniden 980SSB.
    now on to the next project:
    Wiring in 2 new 4 way/ w heated mirrors!!! fun fun fun

    I just bought a 2005 Kenworth T800 it has Kenworth satelite stereo in it. Does anyone know how to get it hooked up with sirius or is that possible? I have no manual on the truck or stereo.

    Man, treat yourself and buy a new head unit. With that you wiiw gain a aux in that doesn't sound crappy. It's also tax deductible amoung other things.
