I retired from Keebler/Kellogg's. 33 years--- 23 years when it was Keebler 10 years after Kellogg's bought them. The difference between the two owners is night and day. Kebbler treated everyone like family, Kelloggs you were basically a number.

WalMart is the one that put the idea of having their trucks pick the product up at the bakery instead of DSD. When they are 40% of a company's business they have a lot of pull. They have done the same with the bread company in many stores. They went after the pop and beer drivers, alcohol is controlled By the state, but the pop drivers are worried. Aug. 2017 was the last day for the DC I worked out of. STOP SHOPPING WALMART

No, Godfrey Transportation was put on all Keebler tractors under the Keebler name and logo in the 1990's. Godfrey was Keebler's first name ( the original owner). Keebler came about after 5 cookie/cracker companies merged. The original Keebler Co was started in 1853

    That's called Having it Tough.

So Take Your Severance- Pay Your Bills, feed the Kids, And Go Find another Job..........

I drive for mondelez. We’re DSD, of course we all got worried when we heard about Keebler, but realistically, it’s 2 different companies, just a main competitor , and we do WAY more volume than Keebler did. More than 80% of our skus are DSD, Keebler was like 18 or 20. We do 1000 cases per route on a slow day, holidays are easily 2 - 2400. When I ran into Keebler drivers, 600 was a busy day for them, plus all their stuff was floor loaded. Anyway, you still never know. Anything can happen. Walmart runs the show and they usually get what they want. Mondelez tells us that were 100% commited to DSD.

Not sure what part of the country you’re in, but the pay here is great. Hourly OT after 40 and plenty of it. Free health dental vision. Union. We just drop pallets, no stocking. All dock or liftgate delivery. No handcart. Management don’t bother you unless you’re doing stupid #### but that’s everywhere. We got 2 openings here in Racine ... where are you?

I’d apply if I was you. Turnover by us is very low. We used to have a warehouse but now it’s all cross docked since 6 months ago.
