Kane Scranton, PA

Delt with Kane a lot back in 03 - 05. They run the Sam's warehouse and was running the P&G warehouse in Tunkannock. A little big for their britches if you ask me.

 

But...but Kane is able!

 

Kane is unable! In fact, i think they lost the contract at P&G warehouse. I believe Exel Logistics got it back.

 

Kane doesn't have P&G anymore, in fact they've either sold or leased out their warehouse nearby. Penn's Best has the lion's share of the dedicated stuff, and everyone else gets what's left. Exel doesn't haul stuff, except from Mehoopany to Tunkhannock, that I'm aware of. A few former coworkers are either O/O leased to Penn's Best or company drivers there.

 

Yeah my uncle worked for Penn's Best for a little while. Got tired of P&G not having loads ready when they were supposed to be. So Exel is running shuttle from the plant to the warehouse now? Kane had that as well back in 05'. A lot has changed since then.

 

I was ALWAYS delayed getting loaded at Kane. Good thing was, they were usually light candy loads.
