Hi! I have a year experience and I just moved to Florence South Carolina and I wanted to find something local or regional that pays pretty good. I teamed for my year OTR with my husband but I’m sure his MVR will prevent him from teaming with me for some of the local companies I’ve seen. I don’t mind local home daily but I’m not opposed to regional or even OTR that keeps me coming home at least once or a few times per week if I’m fortunate enough to find that. I’m from New York so I’m new to this southern living & while I’m getting acclimated I still want to be working etc. Any positive help is greatly appreciated!

    How bad is his MVR?
Plenty of decent jobs in South Carolina.
We'll get some names for you.
Couple dozen companies; do you have endorsements?

Hi! His younger brother fraudentoy used his old drivers license as soon as my hub got his CDL and racked up 2 moving violations is GA. My hubby was OTR training me at the time so he has proof from the company we worked for back then, & allegedly the brother has some pprwrk from when he was arrested trying to do the same thing a 3rd time that my hub is having a hard time getting from Gwinnett county. Then he has a speeding ticket from VA, a hand held device citation from Somis CA, & a falsification of elog, not wearing prescribed glasses (he took them off as he was coming into the weigh station), and unauthorized driving (the company used to edit the logs and they had edited them remotely as he was driving & left my log in up. (He’s awaiting a court date for that STILL, that happened in late November/December 2019)

So, they’re pretty bad..I’ve been trying to stay on the phone with Gwinnett to see if they can fax over or email SOME type of proof to potential employers that it wasn’t him who got those violations in GA (if it’ll help him any with all of the other ones he has).

I know there are some drivers with WAY worse MVR’S etc...but as we’re driving around getting things for the house I see SOOO many different companies (day cabs etc) I’ve written some names down and am googling them all now but any more would definitely be greatly appreciated! Our options are really open but we wanted to stay local if possible especially now during this pandemic.

Local - home every day - Bartlett feed driver.
Our Drivers come to Bartlett for the local routes, competitive compensation packages, and focus on safety, but they stay because of the outstanding culture. Our Company was founded over 70 years ago with one truck, and we still respect our Drivers as the lifeblood of what we do.
