I'm interested in potentially working for Johnsonville, I applied for them a year ago but decided to do something else. I do know that they use very well equipped freightliners, volvos, and a few newer Mack trucks that have an APU with the governor set at 68 for cruise and 70 for pedal. I have heard that they pay very well but it came to find out that I will likely need to get a forklift license and also it looks like they have a new policy where you can get paid to unload your trailer or get a luemper service.
Does anyone have any experience working with this company or other information or opinions that they could share?

They’ve been unloading their trailers for years. They most likely will give you the forklift certificate.
They may have went to electric jacks. The last one I talked to was using a hand jack but that’s been a couple years ago.
You’ll be delivering to mostly grocery dc’s, so if you’re good with that it’s probably a good deal.Blagoje and motocross25 Thank this. -
It sounds like a pretty good gig and really good benefits. Also, whoever wrote that is a wordsmith. That’s the most eloquently written job description I’ve ever read.
Blagoje Thanks this. -
