Hate to be Debbie Downer, but your chances aren't too good. Not Impossible, but not too good.
It will also make a difference which school you go to. A cut rate fly by night school won't be much good for you, whereas a reputable school might make the difference .

Apply, apply and apply some more. I would go on indeed and apply to everyone in my area if i were you, as well as knock on doors. You never know what will happen. I always say don't screen yourself out of a position, make them do it. You just never know.

Also talk to the instructors at the school you are attending, they will know who hires new grads in your area. I'll guarantee you are not the first 19 year old to get a cdl.

Other options are looking at garbage, scrap metal, cement mixer, Construction companies etc.

You can look at yard jockey positions as well.

Even if it's seasonal work for the summer, gets you time in the seat and experience.

Where you located? Can't cross border til 21. I started at 19, went to a school that gave a certificate good for 1 year experience in insurance eyes, and got a job doing auto parts nightly from windsor to Cambridge. Sw ontario has plenty of auto parts runs like this, there's also plenty of grain hauling and local agriculture trucking to do, dump trucks, picking up recycling or garbage is usually union and pays decent. Food service in many cities, beer store/tim hortons in guelph. Etc.

Been there tried exactly what you’re trying to accomplish. I had to drive a box truck with a sleeper until i was 21 for a father and son small company.Worse decision i ever made ,maybe a farmer or try driving a small box truck until you’re 21 . getting a company to give you a chance at driving a tractor trailer will be almost impossible because of insurance. Another thing against you right now is it’s very slow across the board and lots of experience drivers like my self looking for a better opportunity
