So i got a job offer for NFI hauling bimbo bread local home every night, off saturday and tuesday and told 60k+ a year.

i also have a offer and interview for Mclane as a driver helper until i get the mileage needed to become a driver this position is about a hour drive away i wasnt told pay or days off.

Just wondering which one would you guys go with? heard good/bad about both but im mainly looking to make decent money but be home more ( i work oilield currently on a 15/6.)

Hauling the finished product ? (loaves of bread) OR, the ingredients to make it. Such as 100 lb. bag of flour ?

finished...says i just unload racks put empty back into truck and move on.....and yeah i was doubting the 60k probably 40 and i dont mind back breaking work im mainly looking for something to pay the bill until oilfield ramps back up...dont see a point making 60k a year being away from the family when i could be back home.

I also have a redimix job with martin martinetta that just called me....no detail of pay just a interview so im guessing about 15/hr with OT that is right here in town im going to look into.

60k...unlikely. You'd make more on one of those Family Dollar accounts...yeh...big money..........................

McLane pays great (amazing really) but you earn it.
Every bread route driver ( I deliver restaurants for MBM, I see a lot of bread guys) I talk to makes about 60k and works 8 hours or so (plus/minus) 5 days a week.

    that's pretty #### good IMO
    and it's certainly not heavy.

Im really wanting to go mclanes for the long term honestly but what does a driver helper make? i cant find anything online about driver helper just drivers (60-110k a year) but im defintly going to check both of them out when getting back home the reason the bread route sounds great is because it is supposdly about a 20min drive from the house.
