Came across this. Could be a sweet gig for someone. Looks tempting just for the rotation and flights paid. Says you need a class 3, im guessing they meant class 1 though?

Tractor Trailer / B Train Operator



Currently Baffinland is looking for a responsible, dependable and dedicated individual who exhibits good driving skills at all times operating haul trucks owned by Baffinland Iron Mines. The applicant will perform all tasks in a safe and efficient manner following all policies and procedures.



This is a permanent position based at site with a 2 week Fly-In, Fly-Out rotation

Main Accountabilities:

• Ensure that all work is performed in a manner that conforms to all site safety policies and procedures
• Communicate to team members and supervisor of unsafe conditions as soon as identified and diligently eliminate conditions that would cause incidents or affect productivity.
• Pre-trip inspections ensuring mechanical safety and emergency equipment is in good working order
• Proper care to the operation and maintenance of the equipment
• Ability to operate all equipment functions, such as adjusting controls quickly and repeatedly to exact positions independently and safe
• Adhere to site specific rules, regulations and speed
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Main Qualifications:

• Class 3 driver license
• Experience in a similar industry is an asset
• Arctic experience would be beneficial
