Has anyone bought a crate motor from JJ Rebuilders Inc?
What was your experience like? Was the motor as advertised?

Don't know anything about them, but if they don't use genuine oem parts, RUN.

Very few of the rebuilders use OEM parts. they would lose all cost advantage if they did. I would consider using companies like that if the truck wasn't too valuable and used within a "towing distance" of the shop who did the work.

That or going by the wayside shortly after. Hey fresh rebuild

I used on an engine for a customer and they screwed us. Bought a new engine with 6month warranty. Installed and immediately had water in the pan and per dealing with them started engine and it knocked. Pulled pan and found broke piston. Wouldn't of been bad but they waited 2 months before accepting it back then waited another 3 months before sending us another engine. This one was a used pullout, instead of the new old stock engine we originally purchased. It leaked oil at turbo, oil pan, and injection pump and u tell it had some where on it. They made my customer pay shipping back and forth on the engine. I thought they were unprofessional and personally won't do business with them again.
