My understanding is no pets, no riders for 6 mo. and then family only... but You can always ask!

Hey Doc...thanks for the response and for reading my long message.Guess I was curious,I know rider policy is different in many trucking companies..but definitely don't think there would be a company that would just let anyone ride freely with the driver...obviously for insurance purposes,just wanted to know what paperwork it took for the process,but I guess from you are saying..that explains it.My friend obviously thought otherwise as well prior to applying at JBS,but found out opposite after.I did some reasearch for a bit and looked throughout the internet and most trucking companies are pretty private and don't like to give much info especially on that..that is until you apply..sad

Well, that just sux. By "no exception", you don't mean drivers coming over from another carrier, do you? Kinda seems like someone didn't think that one through very well. I'm pretty sure a 3-10 year veteran coming from another carrier is not going to want to spend 8 weeks cooped up with a trainer at $300/wk. If they are looking for experienced and efficient drivers, they are doing it wrong.DocRox Thanks this. -
