So guys , I just got approved for this company and they told me to come in for a pre employment orientation which is a 3 day process , but the problem is in one of those days is a hair follicle drug test , I’m not quite sure if I can pass it , what will happen if I don’t show up for orientation at all? Will it show on my record as a refusal for drug test? Came here to hear what you guys got to say ! Anything helps thanks

It’s better not to go then to go and be dirty. I would let them know you have a family emergency and you will need to get back with them in the near future.

Also my recommendation to you is quit doing things that will cause you to fail a hair follicle test. When you driving out here on the roads if anything at all is in your system, regardless of fault, it automatically becomes your fault. I’m telling you now they lock people up for a long time for accident that may not of been fault of driver but because he/she had something in their system that should not of been there. So if your not serious about trucking and keeping yourself free for any test that comes your way you may want to reconsider driving a truck.
Wargames, Geekonthestreet, JoeyJunk and 1 other person Thank this. -
Isn't JB Hunt the company that will automatically fire you for stepping on the accelerator when the radar is slowing the truck down? No thanks.
MACK E-6 and bryan21384 Thank this. -
Huh?
I’m sorry, I wasn’t paying attention.
spindrift, Last Call, Milr72 and 1 other person Thank this. -
You should put some feelers out there for companies that do only urine tests. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you've quit smoking. Look for a company that does only urine tests and bide some time to get cleaned up even more.
