I don't have any video games to play, but I'm very generous with my own breakdown pay.

 

That still screws the driver. The guy that gets paid by the mile isn't getting paid for sitting around.

 

Personally I’d say they did you a huge favour and only wasted a small bit of your time instead of months if you actually hired on.. a glass half full moment

 

Go to corporate headquarters with a large dead roughfish. Preferably a Bullhead or Catfish.
In your best business suit disguise, make your way to the executive washroom.
When it's unoccupied, stand on toilet, lift the ceiling tile and toss said fish to the deepest darkest corner.
Your work is now done.

Sounds to me like you got a life’s lesson and can apply this experiance to future endeavors.
I have been asked to watch videos ahead of an actual interview. My response was Sorry I won’t be able to do this until I am present at orientation. If I receive a lot of bite back from them their interview is over.

They many times do need some paperwork ahead of time but not hours worth of it. That’s for orientation and to be done on thier dime not mine.

 

They did you a favor. JB Hunt sucks. Thank them and find a better employer.

 

Can’t blame all megas because a bunch of bad, I’m sure there’s some decent ones.
I have nothing bad to say about Schneider.
They have jerks and idiots in DBL positions, but all carriers do, but they’ve got good ones too.
