I will give many 'Roses' to James H. Clark & Sons based in Salt Lake City,Ut
They have great hometome. Very easy going home requests.
They pay pretty good. Not the best, But good.
I averaged 3500-4200 miles a week. If you want miles, They will give all you can handle.
Great maintenance on their trucks although the Rigmaster is another story.
The dispatchers are absolutely the BEST that I have EVER had the chance to work with. They possess GREAT communication skills with the drivers.
If the winter roads get to bad. They have never forced or repromanded a driver for shutting down. (That I know of)
The only major draw back I've seen is the way they set up their trucks. They cut back the power to their engines and that itself drove me nuts once i hit a hill.![]()

Yeah sounds like a good company. But I'm in Oh. I want to run out west, but I'm not moving to do it.

I think BE3 is a plant. I say this because this is a place that would come under the heading buyer beware! I instigated a meeting with Craig the owner his wife HR and my dispatcher. The dispatcher was pulling some shinaggins which I called him on and in this meeting found out Craig despises all who sit behind the wheel of a big rig and with his own mouth formed the words all drivers are Liars, and Lazy and on and on. By the way D.O.T. agrees with him as they have a 93 rating in the Driver safety category etc, 100 being the worst . The pay structure with bonuses to entice you to hire on are not in writing as with detention, layover and multiple drops are not in writing and I have made less money than I expected let alone not getting the miles promised when other drivers were, and could not use the "Oh freight is down" excuse. I asked for a meeting and asked questions and that was that. Question are not looked at favorably!Yes the trucks and equipment are in top shape because there is a great maintenance and review program. There is no such program for employees and wonder why JHC does not think the employees would respond well to a little TLC like the trucks.

U think. If U have nothing to add constructive but name calling why bother. Why don't U tell all of us out here looking where U can find the policies actually in writing that tell U how you will be compensated. If U have a different Employee Hand Book than the one I have why not share this evidence U have with all these prospective candidates all the good news actually in print! Now show us how intelligent U R by something other than name calling. I have the evidence and will share it with those that are investigating new possibilities. Have a nice day ya all.
