J1939 volvo and cummins

    Converted N14 select plus into volvo vhd truck.

    the green and yellow wires from the volvo loom are those for the J1939?
    not seeing any from the cummins engine. Does it use use this protocol? If so what would be the numbering of the corresponding wires?

    The wires should be numbered and yes Cummins does use the j1939

    For the cummins N14 select plus engine what are the wire codes for the J1939 wires?
    the twisted wires I am seeing are 400, 401, 404 and 405

    Them are going to be Volvo numbers I dont know but if you get multi-meter out the twisted wires should be one for speed sensor one for 1939 data link should be 3 wires one for 1587 data link and one for the tack sorry dont know any Volvo numbers but there are alot of Cummins wire diagrams on line easy to find
