J B Hunt Power Only loads - a joke, road to poverty

I'm just reposting this from another site so whoever is considering working with these ripoff jokers will have enough sense to just say, NO THANKS!
I looked into their "program" a couple of times a few yrs back and knew right away (from their "road to poverty" (as I call it) cheap rates & assessorials) that they would not be good to go with; then you have to deal with their dishonesty and lack of integrity, which you can see in the hundreds of bad reviews on major load boards.
ADVICE:
1.Ask if they pay on short miles or practical and don't let them get away with saying they don't know or it's Rand McNally. There are two programs - short and long.
2. Ask what all their assessorials are and what they pay, like how long you have to wait until you start getting detention; what hoops you have to go through to get it, etc.; do they have a cap on detention time and what if I'm forcibly laid over?; what if your dispatcher lied about there being no appt. time or if he later changed the appt. time? They do all this shady stuff, which has no limit. Only those who don't know how to calculate their profit margin will end up working as slaves for companies like this. You will eventually end up broke.

Tried the PO side of JB Hunt. Same bad results
So they have a new PO team that recruits (You probably get emails). They promised it would be more organized, better run etc etc. They have to book your first load blind then you are lucky to get there "other" PO load board. Yet the same incompetence follows. Books a load for you Monday morning 5am. Doesn't give you an empty to pick up. When you call support they actually yell at you saying its not their fault its the other teams fault stop bugging them (although its all the same support lines). After you get ahold of someone you are lucky enough to back track 100 miles to get an empty. Then the best part.... you show up and its already booked and gone. Best part is you are lucky enough to get to move the empty for them for free!!! If you actually work with them after reading these post you get what they do to you.
