I would give the hammer a 7.5 out of 10.
It must be very difficult to make an app like this but here is some of the good and the bad that I have seen.
The good:
The app is free so that's a good selling point. It figures the time that a truck takes so the actual drive time I think is more accurate than say Google maps. Confirming the address is a good feature because if you pinch the map you can make it smaller and make sure that that is the right town that you are going to.
The bad:
I have had the app tell me to go left when the actual navigation shows you going right. If you need to turn around it has many times tried to send me into residential areas. Whenever it gives me directions on a trip and I see a road that is not a major highway I do get nervous because I have to double check if that is a truck route. The last load that I did there was a quicker way to get on the Pennsylvania turnpike and the app would send me up to a whole another exit.
So the app really isn't bad but if you're going into an aea that you're really unfamiliar with it would be better to have a regular truck GPS.
I am not sure how they can improve those things but maybe over time they will.
I've been using the hammer..

Well actually it's happened a few times.I'm not really sure anymore because that was at least a few routes ago.
But today I was in a part of Pennsylvania I don't normally go to and I was headed to a part of New Jersey that I don't normally go to.
There is a way to go up into New Jersey and swing back around to the delivery.
So it took me into New Jersey all right, and directed me to take the last exit in Pennsylvania. No trucks are allowed on that exit.
So I had to pay the toll to come back into Pennsylvania, then I had to go through towns and stop and go traffic to go back into New Jersey and make my delivery and then pay the toll again to come back into Pennsylvania.
I am sure that eventually you guys will have a great GPS. The layout of it is nice the navigation is nice but for me I have to just go buy a regular GPS.
I have already uninstalled the app and I will be purchasing a regular GPS today. -

When is the next update for the app?

Cool thx.
is there anyway to turn traffic off?its trying to detour me on some crazy routes. -
I would like to turn traffic off automatically it seems to be rerouting me around traffic hotspots in the city, what sometimes can lead to a nightmare lol
