He failed the gender test and has male chromosomes, yet was allowed to fight in the Olympics as a woman.

Glad she stood up over this stuff. I don’t think any American athlete woulda done this. Woulda been “rascist”. They would just take their beating from a man like a man.

"Afterwards, a still-tearful Carini said she quit because of intense pain in her nose after the opening punches. Carini, who had a spot of blood on her trunks, said she wasn't making a political statement and was not refusing to fight Khelif."

By her own account, she wasn't taking a stance.

Well of course. What was she supposed to say, “I am not fighting a dude”? Can you imagine the social backlash from that?

If people are praising her for being brave and standing up for something, it doesn't make sense to lie about it. Lying about something is the opposite of taking a stance on the matter. The whole point of being brave and standing up for something you believe in is to accept responsibility for what you're saying, right or wrong.

Guaranteed, behind closed doors, she was told what to do, in an effort for the Olympic committee to try and save face. Imagine being a woman and getting hit in the face by a man who’s too chickensh** to fight his own gender. Some things just aren’t worth it. Good for her!

And, to h3ll with the Olympics. Let them continue to ruin theirselves.
