Ism Egr disconnect

I want to experiment disconnecting the egr valve on a cummins Ism. Since it is a company work truck, I have no care on long term effects. I have been reading the positive benefits regarding the disconnection of the egr. I will reply with any positive or negative effects with the disconnection of the valve. I constanly go up and down the grapvine daily so I will notice any performance gains or losses. Im have trouble locating the egr sensor. Here are some pics with my cell phone, I hope this helps.
