Bobtail Insurance also known as non Trucking liability insurance. Is it required by law? So for example you trying to drive to orientation before your carrier has helped you get all the other things done.
Can I drive their, without bobtail insurance?
If not where can I find some that isnt going to cost a ton just for a few hundred miles?
Thx again.
Is it the law to have to have bobtail insurance?

If you don’t have any insurance on the truck while driving yes that is illegal!!! I would check with the carrier to see if they can get you a temp policy to get to orientation. Or check with your local agencies for a 30 day policy

Bobtail Ins is what you need, as Liability will be covered by whoever you lease on to while working.Shotgun94 Thanks this.
