Way too many variables. Most importantly is your freight sources and your price you charge.

“Much money” is relative. There is always money to be made. But it’s not easy. Im now doing 3-4K a week w a 3 car driving 6 days. Two owners and a driver working. Expenses are 2700ish with paying a driver 200 a day and me doing the dispatching. I don’t consider that making money. But still learning the ropes. Had a period making 8-12k a week 6 days 3rd quarter of 2018. That money was taken over by Ready though. I have NO clue how any driver can dispatch himself and make money.

Its a hustle and a hassle to make money self dispatching. It would be good to have a partner since you can only drive so much. When one dispatches the other drivers and vice versa. Try and get so relationships with dealerships and private shippers to get the brokers out of the equation. 3 car trailers are much better suited for short runs that typically pay more per mile. Do your best to keep drop offs and pickups within a short distance from each other as that will be your biggest time suck. Also add a fuel tank to the pickup. Soo much time saved. Sign up with as many brokers and central dispatch as possible. Have your own web page and get on www.allcarhaulers.com
