I finished orientation with Werner and was seconds from heading down to TX to meet my trainer. Corporate pulled me and said they were disqualifying me because I had been terminated from my previous employer for a policy violation. I have tried 4 other trucking companies and have gotten as far as scheduling for an orientation and then I don't hear from them again. Werner is telling them I was disqualified and it appears I am blacklisted. How can I find out what is on my record that is keeping me from getting a job? Is it on the DAC report and can I see it?

Nice of them to tell you this!
They could possibly have become involved in a lawsuit.
Get a copy of your DAC report? Not sure how.
Then give a call up there and find out why? Have an employment agency ask them.
Or give them a call up yourself. If they do not knwo your voice. And ask them for a reference.

If they "black balled" ? you this might just mean Werner wants you to come back crawling to them.

Contact a lawyer after finding out all fact, might give them a threating letter,,, or even sue them and get somthing out of court settelment.

I got my DAC from that site a few weeks ago and it didn't have a #### thing on it.

They nailed you for falsifying an application, on top of a termination, so you may not be black balled, but just generally undesireable.

Have you tried the rest of the bottom feeders with an ACCURATE application? Prime, roehl, schneider, swift, TMC, etc.? Somebody is bound to need a warm body for a few years.

If they "nailed" you for falsifying an application a few weeks ago?
It was probibly due to the fact that a recuter had high prresured you into filing out an application.

Then you did not know what sort of information different companys can release on you without getting sued. And having to seattle out of court(like I said above).
Some companys will only give out dates of employment with no reason for leaving.

Also things like attendance, you thoght you did. At applications they will try to get you to admit all kinds of things. You did not do?

This web site hireright.??? They keep all info you submit,,, if you ever have a bill collector or anybody else check the records. The info you enter to see if there's anything on you? Will become permanunt, everyone will be able to locate you for any reason.

Yes, Hire right has all of your criminal activities. Driving activities for I think 3 or 5 years. Commercial activities for 7 years. I don't think they have the credit report. They had me on there for a concealed weapon back in 1986. I was just thrilled.

A company can black list a driver from ever getting work! What to do about it, and there a company that will over look it? I can't believe that people will take the word of an employer over a driver. Can't get a job because of being black listed.........over 20 yrs experience, no tickets, or accidents.
