I graduated from truck driving school in 2009. I went through the course at our local community college. And was unable to find a driving job when I got out so I went back to driving a dump truck. I have since found a job working for a local company driving their day cab semi pulling a 53' dry van around town. But things are not working out with the company and I am now looking for a better opportunity. Unfortunately I found this forum to late and went to orientation with Link America which was a big joke and after being jerked around by them for a few days in Lakeland I am now back home and jobless. So what I would like to know is if there are any good companies or even O/O's that are looking for a driver. I am a non-smoker with a clean license. I am able to park the truck here at home on my days off if needed and willing to be out for up to 2 weeks. Please let me know if you know of anyone hiring. I will keep your truck clean and in good working order if you will just give me a chance you won't be disappointed.

If you attended school and have "I believe" 9 months experience you should look in to Pritchett Trucking. I've worked here now for a little over 3 years and really enjoy it, nice people, good equipment, steady earning potential. You're not going to get rich, but you'll be able to provide for you and your family. They have local and regional runs and operate about 200 trucks. In Jacksonville you could probably pull dumps, trash, or live bottom moving trash, wood, fluff whatever they can find you. I work in Tallahasse and haul trash, chips, and a couple different loads with my dump trailer. Call and speak to Roy Crews, 800-486-7504, if he doesn't answer just leave a message and try again later, he's our only HR guy for the entire company so you can figure he's pretty busy. If you have any questions let me know, I can probably help you with an answer.
