Is anyone familiar with the company Dutch maid?

Since no one else responded I’ll chime in. I didn’t drive for them but I used to deliver into their shop in Willard Ohio when I ran city for R&L. The equipment is well maintained, they’re not slamming local media with advertisements for drivers, they’re big into fuel mileage, lots of their drivers have been with them for extended times, they do have their own onsite training facility to bring new people in. All their trailers are reefers but I don’t know if their drivers fingerprint the freight or if they use lumpers. The state of their equipment alone made me consider them when I decided to leave R&L but a sweetheart of a deal popped up before I ever got serious about looking into them

Dang, now if I’d seen her there maybe I’d have not considered my other deal such a “sweetheart “! Nothing like her running around there though!

This pic is more correct. Huge heroin problem over there. I drive by the facility all the time. Used to know a mechanic that worked there. Seemed they took pretty good care of equipment.

I stop in the Circle K often. Some of the ruffest people I've ever seen. Like Walmart but smaller.

 

That’s interesting. R&L had/has a big problem with drugs on the dock crew and some of the mechanics which for those of you not familiar with the area they’re only 30 minutes apart and would be drawing on the same labor pool. Some other companies I know have serious drug use problems in the area also like Crown Battery but that’s the first I heard about it with Dutch Maid

 

I'm actually talking about the town its self. Not Dutch Maid. Crown, I have personal friend pretty high up. Stories are amazing. Used to work on thier company trucks. Its always been that way.
