Iowa 80 truckstop restauraunt....

    I'm at the Iowa 80 truckstop right now and was here last night too...I went in the restauraunt last night and had supper, My wife had the buffet and I ordered a steak.

    It was horrible! The worst food I've had in months. The bright spot in this story is this...Across the street from the Iowa 80 is a restauraunt called Grammas Kitchen, The food is great! The people are very friendly and the pie is excellent!

    I will NEVER again eat at the Iowa 80 but I will walk across the street to Grammas Kitchen when I'm here...:yes2557:

    The last time I ate at the IA 80, I found the restaurant to be just like any other TA.

    I agree, the Iowa 80 food and srevice has gone down hill, and is definately over priced. But I stopped at the Flying J in Carlisle, PA the othe day, and ate at the Denny's that replaced the Cookery. I was very impressed, and think it will be a good addition to the hook.
