Invoice numbers on fuel?i

I'd go with Reference number.

 

For the TA receipt it says receipt number. Love's is ticket number

 

IFTA only needs to know price per gallon, gallons purchased, and which fuel station. Though if you must record those numbers, each company has an identification number so whatever they call it is what they use to track it. I had companies before where I would identify products by different names. It just let me know which field to search for.

 

When I filed IFTA, they didn't need price paid.

 

Where did you file it? I live in TN so I used TNTAP and they only asked for gallons, cost, and state.

 

New Jersey and Iowa.

 

Those receipts have a particular number that is it's own unique name. Should you present that number to a fuel desk MANAGER or Operations Management of a given truckstop, they can go straight to that specific transaction. Sometimes combine that data with video of who did the fueling for instance if possible.
