The great state of MN is requiring us to send in a copy of our medical card or our cdl will be suspended. On the app I have to state whether I'm Non-exempt interstate or Non-exempt intrastate. I'm assuming intrastate means I cross state lines? I'm not positive on the definition of these terms and I don't want any hassle with it.
Thanks
intrastate vs. interstate

INTRA means you stay in one state. INTER means you cross state lines.

Very good thing you asked brother and good thing you found out, this started Jan 1, 2012 I just got a citation for having license suspended, for this very thing.. I thought I had it all figured out but, nope...so, good thing you asked and will have it taken care of.
MJ1657 Thanks this. -
IL is doing similar thing, think I have to take my med card to a DMV CDL facility even.

I wonder how many millions of our dollars they are wasting on this program???SheepDog Thanks this. -
Or, how many drivers will find out that their license is suspended, and didn't even know. I take full responsibility for my situation but, so many out there that don't have a clue to what we are talking about.

Same thing here in WA,and you have to be interstate not intrastate even if you never leave your state but what you haul does.
For instance a log truck driver here in WA that may not ever leave the state hauls a load down to the port of Longview and the logs are export logs getting loaded on a ship, because the logs are export he has to be interstate.
