    Hey guys,

For my company, I drive a 2016 international pro star, with the 5 min idle BS. Anyways, I've got a way to bypass the idle problem, and it's easy as pie.. No sensor removal or anything.

    1. Start truck.. Obviously
    2. Take off your truck parking brakes
    3. Turn cruise control on (this only will work with air brakes off, so be careful you don't roll)
    4. With the cruise "on" PRESS AND HOLD the "resume" button
    5. While holding down the resume button, pull your tractor air brakes (yellow one ha..)

And tada, your truck will idle up, and keep running all night long. Test it out, let me know if it works for you guys out there. I use this trick daily and saves me quite a headache especially when trying to cook!

This may work with other brand of trucks but I can only vouch for the international prostar..

Or you can set the trailer brakes and leave the tractor brakes realeased.

This doesn't work with ours. If nothing is touched in the truck for 5 minutes, including no gas pedal, the truck will still shut down.. It's to prevent people from tampering with it. I've tried pretty much everything when it comes to this problem and this is the only solution I've been able to find..
