I have a 2007 International 9400i and I am looking to change the stop light switch for my husband before he gets home (have new one in hand) and for something that looks so simple to change, I cannot find any information on how to actually change out the air switch by the firewall. I am sure this is REALLY easy to do and I just can't seem to figure it out...Any Help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!!

Those are "quick connect" push in type. You will see a brass collar in the fitting. You have to press it into the fitting and gently pull on the switch at the same time. They can be very stubborn to get out. Everything is all plastic too, so you have to be careful!. What I do is get some smaller pliers and hold the collar while I spin the switch a bit to free it up on the inside. It is sealed by an o-ring inside the fitting and the o-ring will be stuck to the switch. Once it is freed up I will press that little collar towards the fitting. The collar is spring loaded and will unlock the air switch when it is pressed in. These can be a bugger. Remember, everything is plastic so be gentle.
