I have a 02 International 4300 LP with a dt466e and it is a non air compressor truck that I'm installing air operated PTO and air operated dump pump and I need to know what all is involved in putting a air compressor on a truck that wasn't Factory equipped with one. I don't have a truck with air around here that I can look at 2 see everything that I need so I need kind of maybe a parts list or some insight on hoses oil lines mounts and stuff like that. I know a little bit about a lot and a lot about a little bit and unfortunately this is one of those things that I know a little about a lot so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

its been a long time sense iv looked at a 466e im thinking they may have had belt driven compressors, i very well could be wrong on that though.

i would think though that for just a pto and air over hydro valve a small electric compressor and small tank with a little pressure switch would work just fine.

    Jrb81 Thanks this.

I thank you are going about that the wrong way. I have a couple of those midsized trucks with hydraulic brakes. One has an air ride cab with its own little electric minnie air compressor for the cab air bags. The other is a Larado Kodiac with air suspension. It has a larger electric air unit. I cannot recall the name but I thank they are in Sioux Falls SD. Had to work on it once and called them. Great people to work with but had to get the part through a distributor.
Kodi and I followed a star with Jesus is Lord out of Memphis last week through Bham in the rain. Hope ya'll did not mind me tagging along. Jesus was riding, thanks for the ride.
