its a 2007 international 9400i , the ac was working fine no leaks or anything . now all of a sudden the compressor clutch wont engage. there's power to the clutch but as soon as i turn on the ac , the circuit breaker(fuse) inside the dash kicks off. high pressure switch seems fine because as soon as i unplug it the engine fan comes on. but i cant find the low pressure switch. does anybody know where the low pressure switch is located , or any ideas why the circuits kicks out ? any help appreciated. thanks.

Could be that the expansion valves are not working if the system has no leaks, is properly charged, and the compressor clutch doesn't stay engaged.
Edit - check all the relays pertaining to the a/c system. Could be that one of them is causing a short. Can't really give solid advice without actually being with the truck and seeing the problem.

If the circuit breaker is setting off then its not a problem with the ac switches that's for sure you have a short between the 12 v supply to compressor and ground. What kind of engine is it isx or cat. I would try to run the ac compressor from the Alternator power with two jumper wires making sure the compressor runs and is not applying to much mechanical resistance to set off circuit Breaker but chase down the 12v supply to see where it's touching the block or some ground on the engine. That's absolutely first thing I would check

Yep, shorted compressor clutch coil. If you have 12v at the compressor plug, but then as soon as you plug it back in the breaker pops, you have a shorted coil.

Ya that's true as well that's the reason that I was saying to run the ac compressor with jumper wires

Clutch coil is on front of compressor where the wires go in. Remove belt an undo the 4 bolts under the pulley and then the shaft but and pry or pull it off. It will prob be all worn out and grounding out. You can replace it. I got one off eBay when I did mine.
