Anybody ever try that interior dash paint that they sell at the local auto parts store? Or, has anybody tried stripping that gray paint over the black dash on a KW? Even though it's been like that for years, I still struggle to understand why KW would think that a painted dash would work out.

Thanks, they sell some stuff at the auto store that is supposed to flexible as well. I might give it a try, although I just kinda wanted to see if anybody had tried it since it means I'll either be taking the instrument panel apart, or doing a lot of tedious masking. I would hate to do all that work, just to have it scratching off in a couple months.

I have some stuff I used in my wrecker, turned a tan dash blue, I will get you a product name, the stuff has been on there for months and man it is holding up very well. I will use it again.

Quite a few years ago i painted dash of pickup with very good luck. I believe the paint was "Sems". Not 100% sure on name(it was several years ago). I still have truck and dash paint is still doing well...
