    Ok, so I got a quote from Progressive for the below setup on the automatic quote page. Also got one from them on the phone. Both came out as $23,049.00 per year. Is this crazy or not?

    2023 F450
    2023 big tex trailer
    More than 500 mile trips one way

    Bodily injury and Liability 100k/300k

    No accidents
    No Tickets

    They jacked up prices on everything, i had car insurance with them and it went up, problem is, most won’t insure new companies.
    You can try ooida, but a few, nucor included, won’t accept ooida insurance.

    I changed my car insurance because they thought it’d be worth another $700/year.
    It was, ok their part, i guess, Shop around.

    That a huge increase. Average was around $1200 a month for beginners. Not sure I would be able to swing $2000 a month under a new authority but got the capital to last about 4 months without pay (unless I dip into savings).

    So how long do I have to stay with them before I can shop around?
