    Hello All,

My truck is currently in the shop and I’m not sure when it will be completed. Insurance carrier says payments can’t be paused. Is there anyway to avoid this without canceling?

Call your insurance agent and talk to them about lowering radius or things like that to lower your cost until repairs are made

And... thats why it is repeatedly said on here time & time again.. that you need to have a reserve fund set aside to cover things like insurance and other on going costs .. when your truck is not generating income

I don’t think there’s any way to pause it like a car and doubt by the time you lower radius that it would be worth the money

The juice just isn’t worth the squeeze

Do you still have both kidneys?

If you pause the policy, you will be screwed if it gets damaged while in the shop. Every shop I've ever seen has signs stating they are not responsible for anything... except taking your money.

If you have payments on that truck you better do some close reading.. because I would bet money your financing agreement states you must carry insurance at all times otherwise you are in default and then you will have big issues ..
And don't think they won't find out because the insurance will report it immediately if you cancel it

that's right, just like car insurance...

got a lien on that thing?

you gotta keep the insurance in force.
