No feathering. Pretty straight wear line around circumference of tire. Had the 3 axle done in SPRIMO after rotation. Back in town now, gonna run it by the daytime tire bay guys. Thanks IP.
If you suspect a bearing, you should notice a higher temp on that axle housing. I would push the bearing theory, sincea 3 axle aalignment has been done.
Doesn't mean whoever did the alignment didn't screw it up. That happens far more frequently than it should. I went through three alignments in a period of 2 months last year. After the second screwed-up disaster - and odd tire wear that got worse as things went along, I quit talking to RA about it. Got the MD Alignment folks to recommend a shop that uses their system - couldn't be better! Best alignment I've ever had on a truck. When RA came sniffin' around about "its TIME for an alignment" a couple of months ago, I told 'em to go jump in a lake.
BTW... those guys with their computers that do alignments as a side job to whatever else that TA, Petro, Pilot etc has them do? DON'T TRUST THEM TO WORK ON YOUR TRUCK!
