STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.... THEY SCREW DRIVERS OVER AND SHORT YOUR PAY ALL THE TIME. EQUIPMENT IS AWFUL, CONSTANTLY BREAKING DOWN. I WORKED FOR THEM FOR 6 MONTHS AND IT WAS THE WORST. I HAVE BEEN A TRUCKER FOR OVER 25 YEARS, WORSE COMPANY I EVER WORKED FOR.

I worked for Indian River for 6 weeks in 2016.
The people in the office were super nice.
The equipment was very good, I had a 2014 Peterbilt.
The only reason I left was hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of hours of detention which the company as a policy refuses to pay.
I brought it to the head of the office and was laughed at.
I did not get the joke.
What I got was in my personal vehicle loaded with my belongings and another job.
This company has tremendous potential but when you are at a truck wash in Washington State in line with 15 other Indian River Trucks for 3 days waiting for a load there is not much laughing going on !!!
Could be a great company.....
Could be......JForce28, Aamcotrans, roadtrucker81 and 5 others Thank this. -

Almost two years over here and the "Stockholm syndrome" has gotten the better of me. Pay was just fine for the first year when I started as a loader here in October 2015. Mileage and loading pay while dealing with only one dairy a night was easy street. Then that dairy got shut down by Texas Ag and then it was back to a mix of either: Multiple dairies a night with loading pay only, or shuttling trailers to the cheeseplant for unload.
The shuttling actually paid quite well if there were enough loads to shuttle and the plant was moving along without issue. But the dairy loading only paid $65 flat and if you had trailers to load and bring back from a dairy that was 70 miles away, three times a night, your hours got eaten up quicker than a big boy shoveling down a 20-piece box of nuggets.
After dancing around with a few, different job prospects over the past year and continually giving these guys some benefit of the doubt, I'm definitely jumping at the next, line-haul or foodservice spot that gives me the green light.
Having some good days off and lee-way at work is nice for awhile. But certain bills have to be paid, money's got to be saved up for classes, and I've finally come to realize that I'll have to take some portion of a whip again elsewhere to make it all happen. -
Lmmfao!
This made my day!!!roadtrucker81 Thanks this. -
