I was at Western Trailer dealer in Spokane, they sell Alcoa rims. I checked the price and it was $240 for a 24.5 rim.

My Forgitron wheels are made somewhere in South Carolina. That's all I buy. Been very pleased with them.
I would be very cautious with the Alex rims. Definitely ask for warranty and test data. -
Just got back from Kentucky and got to attend the MATS show, very nice show. Very impressed by what I saw. I did run into the Alexrims booth and Forgitron and Aloca, Accuride and alux, Forgitron wheels are butt ugly. The finish is just not upto par. Alcoa was well Alcoa, nice. Alexrims really impressed me, their machined finish or diamond cut was very shiny, very impressed. The staff was very friendly and taught me about their true forging or something like it. I would say nicatrucker you made the right choice, Accuride and Alux were horrible horrible, the machined finish is just dull. not good at all. Well thats my report on these wheels. should have taken pictures but no.

Got to see their testing data, from smithers lab in MI. have 3 years warranty from date of purchase, and 8000 lbs maximum capacity, they weight 50 lbs two more pounds than the alcoa and the price was not given to me but did refer me to one of their online dealers. I like the super single wheel but thats another thread. Go with alexrims if you save money over alcoa or if you want a great product that is not rotary or liquid forged. not as strong as the other process. I guess the devil is in the details. -
Accu Ride had a recall a few years ago for defective wheels that could crack and fail which could lead to an accident. Alcoa is the way to go.
Best deal wheels Thanks this. -
22.5x8.25 for 260? That is crazy right inline with Alcoa pricing. Why would you buy Taiwan when you can get the real thing, Alcoa for almost the exact same price?

It is obvious Robbten that you do not know as much as you think. Alcoa is one of the few that still makes their own wheels. as a matter of fact they make their own aluminum too. Anybody that would pick a Taiwan wheel over an American wheel is crazy. You know it sure sounds like you are a dealer trying to make the wheels look good. I am an Alcoa dealer and their reputation is all I need

I am looking for a cheaper replacement for my Accuride 22.5*9 wheels? Any suggestions anyone?
Thanks -
Over here in middle east, china alloy wheel 1st grade quality is 66$ each , i would assume if u buy it online with s&h could be 100$ .
